Out of Sync

My internal clock is now completely awry. Mentally I had been building up to my holidays (now aborted) which was shortly to be followed by the Christmas break proper. Christmas lights are up, the snow fell and it all felt very 'Christmassy'.



Then the holiday fell through due to the bad weather, the snow has (thankfully) thawed & I am going back to work next week.

Rather than having an eager anticipation of Christmas I feel as if it is that slightly flat post-Christmas period instead. Strange.
